Opening Night at the Theater – A Benefit for Project Chimps

July 11, 2019

Join Project Chimps at the Blue Ridge Community Theater for Opening Night of “A Funny Little Thing Called Love” starring, among others, Project Chimps caregiver Madeline Silva!

This deliriously funny new Jones-Hope-Wooten comedy is all about that four-letter word: L-O-V-E. Under a full moon on this unpredictable night of romance, four rollicking tales take you on an around-the-globe journey of unexpected and hilarious twists and turns!

Open your heart to romantic mayhem and come join the fun! By the time the evening is over and the moon works its magic, love will conquer all and your sides will ache from laughter!

Proceeds from opening night ticket sales will help provide food, care and enrichment for the former research chimpanzees now living at the Project Chimps sanctuary near Blue Ridge, Georgia.

The play is written by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten and directed by Michael Lacy. The show runs through July 28.
