Attend, network and learn from primate and sanctuary experts as we explore topics from the practical to the theoretical – all to ensure the highest quality of care for captive nonhuman primates.
NAPSA WORKSHOP 2018 WAS HELD IN GAINESVILLE, FLORIDA.
Workshop presentations took place on April 25th and 26th at the Holiday Inn University Center. Registration includes breakfast and a coffee and snack break on both days. All food at NAPSA events is vegan and vegetarian.

AIRPORT: The Holiday Inn University Center is less than 5 miles (10 minutes) away from Gainesville Regional Airport, and is 81 miles (1.5 hours) away from Jacksonville International Airport. The Holiday Inn has a complimentary airport shuttle that runs from 7am to 10pm. It is about 15 minutes from the airport to the hotel. You will need to notify the Holiday Inn when you need the shuttle. They do not schedule rides in advance.

5:00pm – 7:00pm: Drinks reception at the Holiday Inn University Center. This will take place on the Outdoor Pool Deck. In the event of inclement weather, the reception will take place in the hotel’s President’s Room. - Wednesday, April 25th
8:30am – 4:00pm: Workshop presentations in the Florida Champions Room. - Thursday, April 26th
8:30am – 4:00pm: Workshop presentations in the Florida Champions Room.
7:00pm – 9:00pm: Recognition dinner at the Holiday Inn University Center in the Florida Champions Room. - Friday, April 27th
9:00am – 1:00pm: Tour of Jungle Friends Primate Sanctuary - Saturday, April 28th
8:00am – 6:00pm: Tour of Center For Great Apes.
