Attend, network and learn from primate and sanctuary experts as we explore topics from the practical to the theoretical – all to ensure the highest quality of care for captive nonhuman primates, and appreciation for those who care for them.
NAPSA Workshop 2023 will be in Atlanta, GA
Workshop presentations will take place on May 16th and 17th at The Whitley, Atlanta Buckhead. Registration includes a vegan breakfast and coffee and snack breaks on both days. For lunches and dinners, a list of veg-friendly dining options within walking distance of the hotel will be provided. Supplementary ticketed events include a Welcome Reception on May 15th, a Recognition Dinner offered on May 17th, and a sanctuary tour of Project Chimps on May 18th.
All food at NAPSA Workshop 2023 is vegan.

HOTEL: The discounted block of rooms ($209 / night) set aside for our event at The Whitley, Atlanta Buckhead is now full. Please email NAPSA by May 7 if you still need a hotel room, in the event there are cancellations. Check in time is 3pm and check out is at noon. Workshop guests will have free Wifi access in guest rooms and meeting spaces. There is paid valet or self-parking at the hotel and at the connected parking facility - follow signs for The Monarch.
AIRPORT: The Whitley, Atlanta Buckhead is 18 miles (45 minutes) away from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The hotel does not offer a shuttle. The MARTA transit system offers a train that is $3.50, or a ride share service is estimated to cost $50-$60.

5:00pm – 7:00pm: Drinks reception at The Whitley in the Legacy Ballroom. - Tuesday, May 16th
8:30am – 4:45pm: Workshop presentations in the Legacy Ballroom II. - Wednesday, May 17th
8:30am – 5:15pm: Workshop presentations in the Legacy Ballroom II.
6:00pm – 8:00pm: Recognition dinner in the Legacy Ballroom I. This ticket must be purchased by May 2nd. - Thursday, May 18th
7:00am – 3:00pm: Tour of Project Chimps (includes transportation).
Ticket sales have now closed. A Workshop ticket must be purchased to participate in the reception, dinner, and tour. There are no tickets sold "at the door" at the NAPSA Workshop.
